Eclipse Season -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., April 29th - Sun., May 5th, 2013

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Savings Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

Last week was definitely transformational for me -- in the sense that fears came up that needed to be released; bravery was required on my part, in order to communicate all that needed to be said from the heart. By the end of the week, I had to be gentle with my physical body, and remember to take time off. Being authentic and true to myself was definitely a theme this past week as well ;-) I guess the Lunar Eclipse from last week was fully present. How did you experience the Lunar Eclipse?

This week's headline items: on Tuesday, Venus moves over the degree of the upcoming Solar Eclipse; Mercury changes signs from Aries to Taurus on Wed. morning; the last Quarter Moon in Aquarius will be exact Thursday morning;and the Balsamic Moon phase begins on Sunday.

Monday starts with a Moon void of course (VoC) from 12:37am until 8:21am EDT. Use this intuitive time to have an adventure… as you are dreaming or as you starting your day. As with all Moon VoCs, do not start anything brand-new: stick to routine things, or go with the flow... 'cos the flow knows where to go ;-)

Also on Monday in the early morning, exact at 4:09am EDT, Venus aligns with the Moon's South Node and opposes the Moon's North Node.We started to feel this connection from last Thursday on; it will be strong until this Wednesday. This is an invitation to let go of relationships or values from the past, that no longer serve us. This is also a call to deal with relationship and financial issues with other people in mind, focusing on the emotional (as opposed to the purely material) impact.

If we focus too hard, or worry too much about our material safety and physical comforts, we will feel drained and de-energized. Are your relationships and earnings connected to your passion? What (and who) do you really value? How can you go deeper and connect with others, sharing talents and resources?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-19 degrees of  Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra)

Monday at 8:21am EDT, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Thursday morning. The energy of the Capricorn Moon concerns our need for structure and forward planning. We are motivated by a desire for success -- achievement and manifestation are paramount. We are resourceful, and pursue economy with time, energy, and other resources.

We take things more seriously during Moon in Capricorn, looking reality in the eye. This can also be a very productive period. As best as you can, avoid "should-ing" on yourself. Take the pressure off: try saying "I am doing the best I can and that's all I can ever do"  ;-) With Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) transiting through Scorpio right now, this is a great day to face our fears; also a great time to go deeper on an emotional/intimate level with ourselves and others. As best as you can, be authentic about who you are and what you feel passionate about.

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning, a Mars/Saturn opposition becomes exact at 1:12am EDT. We started to feel this connection from last Thursday on; it will be strong until this Thursday. We may face obstacles, blockages, or opposition to our sense of freedom, our drive, and our ambitions. We also might become more cautious now.

We are learning to live in moderation now -- but this may be frustrating, as we face tests or trials that remind us that pushing too hard or too fast doesn't always get us the results we want. It's time to slow down a little, catch our breath, even experience some setbacks, all so we come back stronger, more controlled, directed, and mature. Taking responsibility is key!

Mars is the inner teenager and Saturn is the inner adult. Mars wants to move fast and get results, Saturn wants us to slow down and focus on the essential -- and sustainable over a long time. What would it take to find your inner balance with those two archetypes?

If you are experiencing these energies within a relationship, we can ask ourselves which of them we are living out: "Am I being impatient? Or am I scared that I have missed something essential -- that something is not going to work out long-term?" Whichever it is, allow yourself to open your heart to the other side, as best as you can ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 5-11 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this opposition. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Capricorn (since Mars is the ruler of Aries, while Saturn rules Capricorn)

Tuesday, the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Monday for details).

Tuesday at 7:18am EDT, we experience an energetic alignment between Saturn and Neptune. This brings a sense of inspiration to our long-term goals. This is a great time to release any fears that are still holding us back to make our dreams come true.

Tuesday evening: Venus moves over the upcoming Solar Eclipse degree (19 degrees of Taurus). This will trigger some relationship or financial issues that will need to be addressed in the next 5.5 months after this upcoming Solar Eclipse (May 9th). The key here is to create awareness to see what needs to be released -- that is not longer in alignment with our Soul's journey -- or received, so we can connect more fully to our gifts and talents. What are you experiencing this evening that doesn't serve you any longer?

Lots going on today: Wednesday morning we enter a very brief Moon void of course (VoC), from 10:07am until 10:19am EDT. Use this short period to find creative solutions -- in regards to your short-term and long-term goals -- by tapping into your intuition. Why not meditate for 12 minutes?

Wednesday at 10:19am EDT, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Friday afternoon. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.

This Moon placement also starts the build-up to the last Quarter Moon; this will be exact Thursday morning at 7:14am EDT, in almost 12 degrees of Aquarius -- but more on that later. Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future -- or on outer space :-) Personal freedom becomes paramount.

Wednesday at 11:37am EDT, Mercury changes signs from enthusiastic, fast-paced Aries to steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until May 15th. For the next two weeks, our thinking shift gears: we want to connect to others in a realistic, down-to-earth way and we "say it like it is". We appreciate common sense; we rely on our senses when it comes to processing information.

A well-developed sense of color, smell, and touch are characteristic of this Mercury position, so for the next two weeks we will be drawn towards the "tasteful" in the realm of the five senses. We are more likely to have a no-nonsense approach to decision-making, and our ideas are often very practical and useful at this time.

When it comes to learning, we prefer demonstrations, concrete answers, and basic concepts for the next two weeks. We learn best when we see real-world uses for the theories we are trying to absorb. We simply process information better when we can personalize it ("what use is it to me?") and attach it to the practical world.

Wednesday early afternoon, a harmonious Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact. We started to feel this connection from last Thursday on; it will be strong until this Thursday. This aspect is bringing a sense of focus and empowerment to our long-term goals. We have the ability to look at everything in a very down-to-earth manner right now; through our understanding of "what is and what is not", we can make more powerful choices. We can also deepen our understanding of our own motivations and look closely at where we are heading.

This aspect also brings an intensity and a depth to our conscious awareness; therefore this is also a great time to transform our lives, stripping away anything -- even people -- that no longer connect with who we are. Ask yourself: How can I live more authentically? Is there anything holding me back? What could I release now that is no longer serving my evolution? Would I be willing to let that go?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 8-14 degrees of Capricorn, Taurus or Virgo? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun being the ruler of Leo; Pluto rules Scorpio)

Thursday: the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Wednesday for details).

Thursday morning, the last Quarter Moon is exact at 7:14am EDT: the Moon in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in steady, down-to-earth Taurus. This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to look at what needs to be completed -- and what needs to be changed. This Moon phase brings us closer to the next New Moon, which is also going to be a Solar Eclipse (May 9th).

During the last Quarter Moon, rather than starting major new projects, it serves us to review anything started around the last New Moon. In this case, that would be April 10th: we now have about a week to wrap up any projects that we got into around that time. What needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover since April 10th? What did it mean for you? As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up between yourself and others -- and for any internal conflicts.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-15 degrees of Taurus, Aquarius or Scorpio? If so, you will feel this month's last Quarter Moon quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

I would also like to mention the upcoming Solar Eclipse. As mentioned in my last Lunar Eclipse video, an Eclipse is a consciousness upgrade. For 7 - 10 days before and after a Solar Eclipse, we are usually in uncharted territory: anything is possible and it's wise to expect the unexpected. Anything brand-new started during this time will likely not pan out the way we thought it would, often because important information comes to light only after the Lunar Eclipse that follows the Solar. If possible, try to defer any major new projects until after June 8th, when this Eclipse season is over.

Another Eclipse-related phenomenon: not only do Eclipses bring up uncertainty in us, they might also leave us nervous, anxious, unsettled and disoriented. As best as you can, observe your feelings and stay grounded in the "here and now". Connect to your intuition and inner wisdom; they will help carry you through this period. Remember: it's temporary. Just like upgrading a computer, you will get all the information you need, as soon as the upgrade is complete -- so as best you can, be patient.

This does not mean that we need to drop everything; it just means it's wise to check in with your higher Self -- do this whichever way feels right to you ;-)

Thursday night/Friday very early morning at 12:24amEDT starts with a 14-hour Moon void of course (VoC), this lasts until 2:25pm EDT on Friday afternoon. As best as you can, take it easy in the morning, and make space for adjustments and flexibility. If possible, try not to get stuck in "I am right about this". Rather, open your heart and as best as you can, find creative solutions. As always with a Moon VoC, go with the flow and stick to routine things (…if possible).

Also, Thursday night/Friday very early morning (exact at 1:32am EDT), we have an opportune Sun/Chiron aspect. We started to feel this connection from Tuesday on; it will be strong until next Monday. This aspect is an opportunity for self-healing; this could support our confidence and brings us into better alignment with our physical and emotional body.

We all have flaws, wounds, insecurities. The more we can open up to that being ok for ourselves, the less judgmental we will be with others. This is also a great time to recognize that our so-called flaws and insecurities have become some of our best assets and strengths -- how might this be true for you?

Between Tuesday and Monday of next week, as best as you can, practice gentleness; be kind to yourself and others.  Again, remember: an opportunity is an opening, a glimpse of new possibilities -- so "opportunities" are not simply handed to us, tied up with a bow -- we have to "take" them, and make something of them. What will you do with this particular opportunity?

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 10-16 degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules Leo)

Friday at 2:25pm EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Sunday evening. The energy of the Pisces Moon bears on the need for connection to our higher selves. It can be a wistful, sensitive and compassionate time; we are especially imaginative, and our intuition reigns.

Boundaries and walls come down; we feel energetically connected to everything around us. As best as you can, therefore, be kind to yourself and others -- surround yourself with loving energy. It's a time best used for spiritual or creative endeavors and for dissolving our fears and doubts. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them ;-)

Friday night/Saturday very early morning (exact at 12:31am EDT), there will be an opportune Mercury/Neptune aspect. We started to feel this connection from Tuesday on; it will be strong until next Monday. This is an opportunity to bring compassion and an intuitive approach to our thinking process. Having faith and connecting to our Higher Selves will be of service to us at this time. Listen to your body, listen to your heart and as best as you can, hear those messages.

Any artistic or spiritual endeavors are likely to do better at this time. Music might help us with our thinking process and our ability to get things done. Let yourself be inspired! A book, a song, a movie, someone else's words… allow the Universe to speak to you. Open your mind to a higher vibration, allow for any and all conditioning to dissolve that is holding you back. Remember: opportunities are openings; they aren't necessarily handed to us -- we have to "take" them and make something of them.

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 2-8 degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces)

Saturday: the Moon remains increative, sensitive Pisces -- in fact, it will be in Pisces until 9:03pm EDT on Sunday (see Friday for details).

Another big day: Sunday, a Mercury/Saturn opposition will became exact at 7:12am EDT. We started to feel this connection from Friday on; it will be strong until next Monday. This aspect might bring some misunderstandings or feelings of restriction. We may have a pessimistic attitude towards our lives and find ourselves in conflict with others on intellectual levels. We might experience communication problems.

It can appear that others are not especially sympathetic to our point of view. However, it is important that we examine how we are communicating with others and take responsibility for how our choice of words lands for others. As best as you can, find your inner balance so you can speak from a grounded, truthful place -- while remaining committed to what others expect of you.

We are also called to examine our thinking patterns for rigid or negative attitudes that have been holding us back. We are ridding ourselves of projects that no longer serve their purpose, learning to cut out the fluff so we can focus on the important. It's better right now to reassess and perfect our ideas, rather than present them -- that will come later. We are digging for truths now, and in the process, we might uncover some doubts.

Fact is, we are most likely harder on ourselves regarding our communication at this time. We also tend to worry about what others think of us. Getting objective feedback from others is key! We also may have a harder time wholeheartedly accepting compliments, while craving them. As best as you can, acknowledge others (and yourself) for being a good communicator, whether via writing or speaking ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 4-10 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus,Leo or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this opposition. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn (since Mercury is the ruler of Gemini or Virgo, while Saturn rules Capricorn)

At 12pm EDT on Sunday starts a Moon void of course (VoC); this lasts until 9:03pm EDT. As best as you can, use these 9 hours as an opportunity to get really grounded in your relationships, including the one with yourself ;-) Bringing compassion and understanding towards yourself and others is going to feel particularly good today. As always with a Moon VoC, trust your intuition and go with the flow ;-)

A harmonious Mars/Pluto aspect becomes exact, also on Sunday at 5:29pm EDT. We started to feel this connection from Wednesday on; it will be strong until Thursday of next week. This aspect brings a powerful ability to accomplish and go after our goals. We are able to see more clearly where we are heading and what we want to be committed to.

Our vitality and energy levels are at a high point. We are most likely feeling ambitious and dynamic right now. Our recuperative powers are excellent and our health is robust. We might feel inspired to build up our physical strength during this astrological influence, and this is a good idea; we can develop greater endurance and vitality now, which will rejuvenate our body.

This is definitely a strong energy for working steadily -- and in a practical, down-to-earth way -- on a project. It is also quite a sexy combination. As best as you can, use this powerful mixture of energies and go after the things you have been wanting for a while now -- and as Pluto is involved, use this energy to fulfill on your Soul's purpose.

Anything that we feel deeply passionate about and that feels in complete alignment with our deepest core, is very likely part of our Soul's journey. What moves you? What turns you on -- not just on a physical level but also on an emotional and spiritual level?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 8-15 degrees of Capricorn, Taurus or Virgo? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Scorpio (Mars being the ruler of Aries; Pluto rules Scorpio)

On Sunday at 9:03pm EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Wednesday morning. The energy of the Aries Moon bears on starting something new. Our gut impulses are strong; we feel energetic, spontaneous, enthusiastic and brave -- and perhaps impatient and impulsive. Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity.

As the Moon enters Aries, we also enter the Balsamic Moon phase. This lasts until Thursday of next week, when the New Moon becomes exact -- this is also a Solar Eclipse. We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our intuition. For many of us, this will be a stretch, as we want to do just the opposite: jump the gun, get started with something new, act impulsively, etc. This is quite common right before a Solar Eclipse, especially with the Moon in impulsive Aries right before the Eclipse. As best as you can, stay grounded, take a deep breath and exhale any tensions.

Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into making the last moves to complete things already in the works. This is also a great time for letting go of the things that no longer serve us. The Solar Eclipse is all about endings and new beginnings. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?

What needs to be completed that started at the time of the last Solar Eclipse, back in the end of November?

Have a fantastic week! Remember to check in with your heart, whenever you can, as often as you can ;-)
Many blessings,

Release What You Have Outgrown -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., April 22nd - Sun., April 28th, 2013

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Savings Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

It really would have been a good idea to take my own advice from last week's blog: "Make sure you don't get overly exhausted...Self-care is key!" I had so much going on last week, I just couldn't seem to make time for proper self-care…. no wonder I was fighting off a cold by Thursday ;-) Another reminder about how important self-care is! I think I got the message this time :-)

That said, I have some amazing news: I announced my online web courses last Thursday. I will be teaching those starting May 4th and June 22nd. Tip: there are serveral discounts available ;-)

This week's headline items: a very powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse is exact on Wednesday afternoon; there are three very long Moon VoCs this week -- all at least 22 hours -- the first one starts Monday morning, the next Wednesday morning, the last on Friday morning.

This is a special week: we are entering the energy that surrounds all Eclipses. Transformation and uncertainty are especially strong within the next 6 weeks. As best as you can, keep an open mind and heart; allow for the Universe to transform you and upgrade your consciousness. The more you can come from a place of love and openness, the more powerful the transformation. Are you ready? Are you excited? I say, bring it on; why not? ;-)

On Monday, the Moon is still in detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it's been since Saturday evening -- and where it will journey until Tuesday early morning. This turns our focus toward practical activities -- reorganizing and rethinking our plans, perhaps. Solving problems, making order out of confusion, helping others: all of these bring emotional satisfaction.

Health matters might come into focus. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to look at our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.), to see if they are in alignment with our long-term goals.

Monday also starts with a Moon void of course (VoC), from 2:02am until 3:25am EDT (Tuesday). As best as you can, plan your day ahead of time and use these 25-hours to make space for adjustments and flexibility. If possible, try not to make promises you can't keep. As always with a Moon VoC, go with the flow and stick to routine things (…if possible).

A Venus/Saturn opposition becomes exact at 3:43am EDT Monday early morningWe started to feel this aspect from Friday on; it will be strong until this Wednesday. This might be a time of relationship tests or trials: we may not be attracting the things and people that we want in our lives -- at least, not as easily as we were before this transit. This can be eye-opening -- a signal to work on improving the "ways" (as well as the "things") that we bring to partnerships.

Many doubts could be raised now. We could be withdrawing or holding back a little, as we attempt to figure out what we want and need -- and what we can give. We are working towards ridding ourselves of self-delusion when it comes to close partnerships, socializing and finances. In the process, we might feel disdain for superficial interactions and resent "going through the motions" on a social and/or emotional level.

Our goal is to find deeper connections to others. Relationships built on weak foundations may not survive, but other relationships can be improved and strengthened. Financial matters might be stressful for the time being, which forces us into a position of conservation and moderation. As best as you can, find your inner balance with this -- as well as on an external level with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 5-12 degrees of Scorpio, Leoor Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this opposition. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Capricorn (since Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Saturn rules Capricorn)

Tuesday at 3:25am EDT: the Moon moves into relationship-oriented, harmony-seeking Libra,where it will journey until Thursday morning. The energy of the Libra Moon wants to maintain equal relationships. During this time, we tend to spend more time on diplomacy: making compromises, negotiating, practicing graciousness, balancing. We are more able to put aside our own emotions in order to achieve the peace we desire.

The shadow side of this is a tendency to avoid direct confrontations. We see both sides, so we can't decide; our fear of losing the approval of others can also be a source of hesitation. As best as you can, find your inner balance with this -- and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm.

An opportune Mercury/Jupiter aspect will be exact on Tuesday at 11:25pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Sunday on; it will be strong until this Thursday. This aspect is an opportunity for expanding our thinking and expressing ourselves in a confident and optimistic way; we share what's important to us from a place of open-mindedness and excitement. This connection also creates a possibility for expansion by stepping into uncharted territory. Humor can be a great way to tap into this energetic combo.

This planetary connection also favors short trips, writing, teaching, studying, and making observations. We more readily exercise good judgment, take a more philosophical approach to thinking, and are more open to learning. Again, with any opportunity... we have to take it: It requires taking actions on our part. What can you do that will instill confidence in your exploration of the mind? Is there a new mental process that is asking to be explored?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-19 degrees of Aries, Leo orAquarius? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Wednesday: the Moon remains in relationship-oriented, harmony-loving Libra all day (see Tuesday for details).

Wednesday morning starts with a 22-hour Moon void of course (VoC), from 8:12am until 6:25am EDT (Thursday). Use this intuitive time to find a balance between logical thinking and your feelings. Seek also a balance between your need for harmony and for independence -- our need for harmony could clash with impatience, with wanting to move fast, think fast. As best as you can, allow for independent thought -- your own and other people's -- to co-exist. As always with a Moon VoC, plan your day ahead of time or stick to routine things ;-)

Wednesday morning, harmonious aspect between Venus and Pluto will be exact at 11:41am EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Sunday of last week; it will be strong until this Saturday. This aspect brings a fruitful and rewarding few days to our lives. We experience new depths of intimacy (with an existing or new partner). We learn to appreciate the important people in our lives. Our value system transforms and evolves.

This is likely an excellent time for finances as well: we feel empowered by the structures we previously put in place; work we've done might pay off; we are able to manage our finances better, with more attention to stability and long-term comfort. We can also eliminate that which no longer serves us.

Under this aspects' influence, we might renew a commitment -- or perhaps bring new, deeper, more intimate energy into a relationship. Our sexual lives could get a real boost now, as we seek to connect on a deeper level, as part of our quest for transformative experience. Superficiality is not what we are looking for in our relationships. We might find ourselves strongly attracted to someone, almost to the point of obsession.

If this aspect connects with any of your personal planets, you might just meet the "love of your life".  One thing for sure: relationships experienced now are bound to be unforgettable. One final note: this transit tends to signal new or strengthened relationships; any relationship that ends during this cycle may leave us feeling liberated.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 8-15 degrees of Capricorn orVirgo? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Scorpio (Venus being the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Pluto rules Scorpio)

An opportune Sun/Neptune aspect is exact at 5:59pm EDT, also on Wednesday. We started to feel this aspect from last Sunday on; it will be strong until this Saturday. This aspect is an opportunity both to dissolve what no longer serves us, and to connect to our intuition. We definitely feel inspired.

Charitable acts lift our spirits -- our capacity for compassion (both toward ourselves and others) is quite strong, especially if we are able to acknowledge it. Dreams and reality find a way to work together now -- any spiritual or creative endeavors that are started during this time will most likely do very well. Remember: this is an "opportunity" -- it isn't just handed to us, we have to make it happen.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 2-8 degrees of Taurus, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).

Wednesday is also the last day before the Lunar Eclipse, the first of three powerful Eclipses within the next 6 weeks. There is some potent energy coming our way; it would be wise to prepare ourselves to be transformed by it, allowing for our consciousness upgrade to be installed. It comes down to this: just for now and just as best as you can... could you simply allow what is... to be? .

Thursday sees a powerful Full Moon, that is also an Eclipse (I will discuss that in more detail below.)

The buildup to the Eclipse/Full Moon begins at 6:25am EDT, with the Moon's move into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio (where it will journey until Saturday morning). The Moon in Scorpio is all about intensity. Emotions are felt on a deeply personal level. We want to get to the bottom of things and instinctively read between the lines. Superficiality won't work for us now. The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power -- it's an excellent time to rid ourselves of old fears and limiting habits.

As best as you can, avoid the dark side of this Moon: manipulation, brooding and suspicion. Instead, open to the wealth of your innermost feelings -- decide to go deeper, allowing all feelings to surface, if that's what they need. Embrace all of who you are. Know thyself, love thyself: you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes "Force" to show up -- and ultimately, that's what disempowers us and others.

An opportune Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 8:42am EDT Thursday (we started to feel it on Monday; it will be strong until Sunday evening). It's an opportunity to bring healing to our wounds around relationships or our sense of self-worth.

We get a chance to love ourselves and heal deep fears of not being "good enough". Healing happens much faster when we can open to forgiving ourselves and others. As best as you can, bring compassion and understanding to yourself, to others, and to those past experiences that wounded you.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-16 degrees of Pisces, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra)

On Thursday at 3:57pm EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in almost 6 degrees of ScorpioThis extra powerful Full Moon is also a Lunar Eclipse and as such, is more intense in its energy than our usual Full Moon. The energy of any Eclipse lasts for about 5-and-a-half months. What is coming to fruition that was started after the time of the last Solar Eclipse, back on Nov. 28th, 2012?

With any Lunar Eclipse, we direct heightened awareness to those places that are out of balance or alignment. The last time we experienced a Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio was on April 25th, 1994. What needed to be brought into alignment for you around that time?

The Taurus Sun encourages us to create stability in our lives by reevaluating what is important to us -- what we hold dear -- and how we can sustain life on this planet. The Scorpio Moon persuades us to connect on a deeper emotional level with ourselves and others -- and to rid ourselves of anything that no longer serves us or our planet. This is essential if we are to feel empowered from within, rather than lording "power" over others. This is based on "the power of love" vs. "the love of power" -- and remember that "self-love" is one way to love :-)

Mars and Saturn also play big roles in this Lunar Eclipse -- Mars aligns with the Sun, Saturn aligns with the Moon. This signifies that we need to be courageous and take actions that are in alignment with those values that serve us and our world. It is also an invitation to take a realistic look at our lives and release what we have outgrown -- anything out of balance or integrity.

What boundaries, commitments and goals are needed for an authentic life -- one connected to your deepest passions -- your Soul Purpose? Your intuition and connection to Higher Self ("Source", "The Universe", etc.) will help you feel supported on this journey. Rather than pushing or forcing things, allow for the journey to unfold: patience is key! I will post a video about this powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse on or before Tuesday: click here to watch

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or personal planets in 2-10 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you will feel the effects of this Lunar Eclipse more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer(the Sun rules Leo; the Moon is the ruler of Cancer).

Friday: the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Thursday for details).

Friday at 4:46am EDT sees the start of a 26.5-hour Moon void of course; it lasts until 7:32am EDT (Saturday). Use this intuitive time to find a balance between your need for material safety (or physical "wants") and emotional satisfaction/depth. As best as you can, allow for both. As always with a Moon VoC, plan your day ahead of time or stick to routine things ;-)

An opportune Mars/Neptune aspect becomes exact on Friday at 9:47am EDT. This gives us the opportunity to take actions that are in alignment with our dreams and ideals. We start to feel this aspect from Monday on; it will be strong until next week Tuesday. This is an opportunity for boundaries to resolve, to be more open and relaxed. Creative or spiritual activities might be a good fit with this planetary connection. We may feel the need to daydream or inspire others. What might it mean, to take "inspired action"? What might show up in the world? What if you allowed the Universe to co-create with you?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in the following placements: 2-8 degrees of Pisces, Capricorn, Scorpio or Taurus? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Pisces (Mars rules Aries; Neptune rules Pisces)

Saturday at 7:32am EDT, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Monday morning. New experiences and adventures satisfy a deep emotional need. The Sagittarius Moon persuades us to come from intuition and think in a broader manner. We seek meaning and ideas that expand upon the "here and now". We pursue truth and a new vision -- the big picture, rather than the details. Spontaneity is the key -- we'd rather improvise than plan; this may tip into just "winging it". We could also overdo or overstate.

Sunday: The Moon remains in optimistic, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Saturday for details).

A Sun/Saturn opposition is exact Sunday at 4:27am EDT. We are called to balance our own pleasure with the emotional requirements of others. We feel this opposition from this Thursday, through Wednesday of next week. As best as you can, give yourself permission to be playful, joyful and creative, while taking care of your responsibilities and commitments.

We may experience a lack of energy or confidence. Some sort of buckling down is necessary at this time; this could be perceived as limitations arising from people or circumstances. Financial blocks are possible at this time, as is a general feeling of "slowdown".

That said, we can also take this time to sort out our life, improve our work, and become more efficient. If things or people leave our life, the connection was likely weak -- or they somehow no longer serve a healthy purpose in our life. Go slow and steady; pushing too hard will backfire.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 3-9 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this opposition. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)

A head's up for Monday: today starts with a Moon void of course (VoC) from 12:37am until 8:21am EDT. Use this intuitive time to have an adventure… as you are dreaming or as you starting your day. As with all Moon VoCs, do not start anything brand-new: stick to routine things, or go with the flow... 'cos the flow knows where to go ;-)

Also in the early morning, exact at 4:09am EDT, Venus aligns with the Moon's South Node and opposes the Moon's North Node. We start to feel this connection from Thursday on; it will be strong until next week Tuesday.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-19 degrees of  Scorpio, Leoor Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra)

Have a fantastic week! Allow for the Universe to co-create with you ;-)
Many blessings,
Sonja

Creative Solutions -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., April 15th - Sun., April 21st, 2013

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Savings Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

Last week was quite stressful. I felt like I needed to clone myself and have three of me working away…thank goodness for my new assistant Ana, who is supporting me in putting the word out. I am very excited, because all the things I am working on are building blocks towards the expansion of my business -- and a bigger me :-) I definitely felt Pluto's forceful energy all of last week: the overwhelm, the fear of losing control, feeling disempowered -- and then very empowered after facing my fears… good stuff! :-)

This week's headline items: Venus changes signs from Aries to Taurus on Monday morning; the first Quarter Moon is exact on Thursday morning; on Friday late afternoon we have the start of a 28-hour Moon VoC starts and the Sun moving into Taurus; on Saturday morning Mars will follow the Sun and Venus into Taurus; finally, a 25.5 hour Moon VoC starting Sunday night/very early Monday morning.

On Monday, the Moon is still in chatty, versatileGemini(since last week Saturday),where it will remain until 10:49pm EDT. The Gemini Moon keeps us social and busy. Interactions may take place online, on the phone, or face-to-face with those in our immediate environment. With this Moon placement, we like to multitask and stay engaged with life as much as possible; as long as we don't get bored, we're good.

Monday early morning at 3:25am EDT: Venus moves into steady, sensualTaurus, where she will journey until May 9th. For the next 3.5 weeks, we love receiving physical pleasures and comforts. Our relationships are centered around delicious foods, wine and sensuality. "Simple and natural" is key. Our financial issues and dealings are being carefully and lovingly considered, we are not easily persuaded to take risks, we'd rather spend our money on a massage or a good meal.

All this is especially true if you are a Libra or Taurus Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Taurus, beauty and love will enter your life in the next 3.5 weeks, you will feel more attractive and you will attract things to you. As a Libra, you will feel more connected to beauty and physical pleasures. Your heart will want loyalty and consistency. Connecting to nature or anything simple and organic is going to feels especially comforting.

Also on Monday, around 5am EDT, we experience an energetic opposition between the Sun and Pluto. Someone may be mirroring something back to us, that feels intense or disempowering: we need to identify with our "dark" side, face it, accept it . Seeing another person as a reflection of our own shadow -- those parts of ourselves we have pushed aside or disowned -- could help us to become more whole.

There will also be a Moon void of coursefrom 3:41pm until 10:49pm EDT, on Monday. Use this time to be physically active and interact with others who may have some great information for you. As best as you can, go with the flow and allow for intuition to guide you.

Monday at 10:49pm EDT,the Moonmoves into protective, introverted Cancer, where it will remain until Friday morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say to (and about) us -- so be kind to yourself and others. Emotional safety is important to us at this time; we like connecting to the familiar -- home or family is our sanctuary. Nurture yourself and others, but remember: make sure your glass is filled before letting others drink from it ;-)

This Moon placement also starts the build towards the first Quarter Moon (exact on Thursday morning). Which means that for the next couple of days we are going to feel an urge to get things going and we may even feel some pressure as to how we can do this without loosing our footing ;-) As best as you can, look for creative solutions, remain flexible and be kind to yourself ;-)

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are big days for communication as Mercury is making several energetic alignments to other planets. First a Mercury/Jupiter alignment which brings optimism and a tendency to talk quite a bit; then Mercury in alignment with Chiron; this brings a chance to heal and talk about our insecurities and flaws. Lastly, Mercury in alignment with Mars, which speeds up our thinking, and we may take things a little too personally -- so watch out for that.

Tuesday might be especially challenging (and also a tremendous opportunity for growth), as we experience some powerful aspect to the Moon…the Moon remains in protective, introverted Cancer all day (see Monday for more details), and towards the evening it will square Uranus (the planet associated with awakening to a new level of consciousness) and then oppose Pluto (the planet associated with deep emotional transformation).

This T-square might stir up some things from the past, emotional triggers could be pushed at this time. We might be faced with a situation or person that brings up the issue of empowerment/disempowerment for us. We may feel compelled to break away from that situation or interaction, because of the discomfort we are experiencing; however, I want to encourage all of us to focus on the value of our relationships and how we can find ways to collaborate and interact with each other that supports us long-term. Awareness and compassion are key! As best as you can, find creative solutions ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 8-12 degrees ofAries, Cancer, LibraorCapricorn? If so, you will feel this T-square more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign inScorpio or Aquarius(Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio, Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)

Wednesdaythe Moon is still in protective, introverted Cancer all day (see Monday for more details). We may feel unusually busy today. As best as you can, take it one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible and find creative solutions for nurturing yourself.

On Wednesday, a long-lasting Sun/Mars alignment in Aries is exact at 8:20pm EDT. We started feeling this connection from April 2nd on. This alignment brings a lot of energy to our projects/goals and our personal self-expression. We feel more confident and capable to accomplish anything brand-new; we are also more excited about tackling something challenging.

Being active and taking action comes quite easily and naturally with this combo. One thing to watch out for: we have the tendency now to be burning the candle on both ends; which could lead to exhaustion and physical burn-out. This is a great time to start new projects that are connected to our physical bodies, our creativity, children, or our passion; anything that requires leadership is a perfect match for this alignment as well.

This Saturday, April 20th, the same Sun/Mars alignmentcontinues, this timein Taurus. We will feel it stronguntil May 3rd. This time period will feel a little more mellow, in comparison to the three weeks prior (when it took place in Aries). With this alignment in Taurus we get more rooted in reality and we can approach our projects in a more practical manner. We are also going to feel a little less enthusiastic and impulsive, and a little more calm, steady and definitely stubborn. Starting a new financial adventure or enterprise could be very fruitful at this time.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 13-29 degrees of Libra, Cancer or Capricorn? Or 0-13 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aries (the Sun rules Leo; Mars is the ruler of Aries)

Thursday morning kicks off with the first Quarter Moon (exact at 8:31am EDT) followed by a 3-hour Moon void of coursefrom 8:31am until 11:13am EDT. As best as you can, make adjustments during that time and remain flexible.

The first Quarter Moon becomes exact in 28 degrees of Cancer. The Moon in protective, safety-oriented, emotional Cancer makes a challenging aspect to the Sun (in brave, enthusiastic, direct Aries).

Around the first Quarter Moon, we feel compelled to take action. The New Moon took place last week, on April 10th; if we began a project or initiative around then, it is probably off the ground by now -- and facing its first obstacles. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow -- and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy. As best as you can, take it one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible and find creative solutions in your day-to-day interactions with others.

Check to see if there is anything that needs to be faced (or readjusted) in your life, especially in the following areas: home, family, physical and emotional needs, personal goals, personal self-expression, our physical body and its appearance, our independence, and our passion. How could we take care of our new projects and take care of our emotional and physical needs? What if we tried to nurture ourselves whenever possible, while following our passion and being fully self-expressed?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in any of the following: 25 - 29 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn; or 0-1 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius ? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign inLeoorCancer(the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Thursday at 11:13am EDT, the Moon moves into fun-loving, attention-seeking Leo, where it will journey until Saturday evening. We have a chance to appreciate ourselves and our lives -- and to connect to the heart. Hand out as many compliments as possible, they will be deeply appreciated :-)

Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you squeak just thinking about it?

Thursday at 7:41pm EDT, the Sun makes an energetic alignment with Pluto, asking us to be aware of our own power. We may want to connect intimately to ourselves and others.  Be aware of empowering or disempowering others. We may get a little obsessed with having fun and being completely self-expressed. Passion is key.

Friday, the Moon remains in fun-loving, attention-seeking Leo all day (see Thursday for details).

Mercury makes an energetic connection to Venusat 3:37pm EDT on Friday. This asks of us to connect to others in a loving and collaborative way. We feel good about making a verbal connection to loved ones, or having a conversation about abundance and finances.

A somewhat challenging Mercury/Saturn aspect will be exact at 4:16pm EDT,also on Friday. This will contribute to feeling either a lack of mental energy or a need to focus on our commitments with others. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday on; it will be strong until Sunday. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed in order to see what needs adjusting.

The sheer scope of our goals in life can require more effort than is immediately obvious. Hard work can take its toll on our health. Partitioning our big ideas into segments that are achievable, one at a time, is the way to move forward while maintaining inner peace and outer health. Use your time wisely!

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 7-11 degrees of Scorpio or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Saturn rules Capricorn)

At 5:06pm EDT on Friday starts a 28-hour Moon void of course; this will last until 9:08pm EDT (Saturday). Use this intuitive time to have an adventure. Think about all the creative, fun things you could do this evening and tomorrow…pick one and let your heart jump high into the sky! We are also more inclined to be social during this time. If you want to make plans with others, make them before the Moon VoC or go with the flow ;-)

Friday at 6:03pm EDT,the Sun changes signs from adventurous, speedy Aries to peaceful, steadyTaurus, where it will journey until May 20th. For the next four weeks our attention is on physical pleasures and we are more aware of our need for comfort and consistency. The Sun in Taurus reminds us to slow down and smell the roses. We are able to be very consistent and methodical, which helps us bring groundedness and reality to our new goals. We focus on what is most important to us. What do you value most? How do you feel about yourself and what you bring to the table?

All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Taurus Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Taurus, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo your vitality will most likely slow down and you might indulge in physical or material pleasures.

Last but not least, also on Friday, at 8:37pm EDT, we have an energetic opposition between Saturn and Neptune. This asks us to find a balance between what's real and what's ideal. How can we bring creativity and inspiration to the things we are building right now? How can we bring our spiritual core and our reality in alignment?

Saturday, the Moon is still in fun-loving, attention-seeking Leo and VoCuntil 9:08pm EDT (see Thursday and Friday for details).

Mercury aligns with Uranus in Aries on Saturday, exact at 5:20am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday on; it will be strong until Sunday night. This alignmentbrings us new insights and unusual perspectives. We might experience some really unusual conversations. Our mind could be flooded with new information and ideas, and we most likely feel enthusiastic and excited by these fresh ideas and insights.

It's a time when we could achieve real breakthroughs in the form of ideas, communications, and the mind in general. Computers and electronics may suddenly become important. Insight into our own mental workings, original thoughts, and the like is likely. As best as you can, and as much as you want to, stay open to other dimensions ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 7-13 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Uranus rules Aquarius)

Saturday at 7:48am EDT,Mars follows the Sun and Venus into peaceful, steadyTaurus, where it will journey until May 31st. With this placement we value strength and stability. We are more driven by security and have a special fondness for personal possessions. Mostly we are not afraid to work for what we want, and there is an overall patience to this position of Mars. If it takes a while to achieve a goals, so be it. Adaptability is not our strong point right now and we also don't like to be rushed now, however we tend to be more reliable.

All this is especially true if you are an Aries or Taurus Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Taurus, you will feel more energized, passionate and direct than usual for the next 6 weeks. As an Aries, you will slow down a little and get more in touch with the practical side of your nature, especially where your personal goals are concerned.

Lastly, also on Saturday, at 9:08pm EDT, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Tuesday of next week.

Sunday: the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Saturday for details).

Sunday, a challenging Mercury/Pluto aspect will be exact at 7:46am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday on; it will be strong until Tuesday next week. We are being invited to grow and make some changes in our lives. Especially in terms of our thinking processes. We have tremendous focus and drive right now, which can tip into obsession. With this aspect an all-or-nothing attitude is very likely. Choose love over fear whenever possible. Not many people enjoy being second-guessed all the time, yet that is something that we are inclined to do now.

However, our determination to get to the bottom of any matter, to expose true motives, can be used for good if we employ it in our work; for example, in regards to investigations or research. This is an opportunity to learn to harness our intense mental energy and apply it productively. We are also capable of very hard work, focus and effort now.

We also have a great love of debate now, but should be careful that we don't overpower others with our strong opinions, attempting to "convert" them to our frame of mind, or treat regular exchanges of opinion as battlegrounds. Connect to others, empowering them with what you feel passionate about. Choose your words carefully, from a deeply connected and empowered place.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 8-15 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Scorpio (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Pluto rules Scorpio)

A Venus/Saturn opposition becomes exact at 3:43am EDT Sunday night/Monday early morning. We started to feel this aspect from Friday on; it will be strong until Wednesday next week. This might be a time of relationship tests or trials. We may not be attracting things and people that we want in our lives as easily as we were before this transit, and this can be eye-opening. It's a signal to work on improving our ways as well as the things that we offer to others in partnership.

There may be many doubts raised now and we could be withdrawing or holding back a little, as we attempt to figure out what we need, want, and can give. We are working towards ridding ourselves of self-delusions when it comes to close partnerships, socializing and finances. In the process, we might feel disdain for superficial interactions and resent "going through the motions" -- on a social and/or emotional level.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 5-12 degrees of Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this opposition. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus,Libra or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn rules Capricorn)

A head's up for Monday of next week: The Moon is void of coursefrom 2:02am (Monday) until 3:25am EDT (Tuesday). As best as you can, plan your day ahead of time and use these 25-hours to make space for adjustments and flexibility. If possible, try not to make promises you can't keep. As always with a Moon VoC, go with the flow and stick to routine things (…if possible).

Have a fantastic week! Make sure you don't get overly exhausted...Self-care is key! Many blessings, Sonja

Your Truth, Your Path, Your Calling -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., April 8th - Sun., April 14th, 2013

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Savings Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

The beginning of last week was quite intense. On top of being super busy, I also had to slow things down for my body. I felt super tired from all the traveling and from processing all the new experiences from the previous week. "One moment at time" took on a whole other meaning during that time… I am sure the Pluto station and the last Quarter Moon had a lot to do with that. From Thursday on, things felt much smoother and I was able to get back into my regular rhythm.

This week's headline items: the New Moon in Aries on Wed. early morning; Pluto comes to a halt on Friday afternoon, starting its retrograde phase; Mercury changes signs from Pisces to Aries on Saturday evening; and Venus changes signs from Aries to Taurus Sunday night/Monday very early morning.

On Monday, very early in the morning (at 12:39am EDT), the Sun makes another energetic alignment with Uranus. We are asked to connect to the unusual. Our creative core is awakened; we feel compelled to express ourselves in unique (or at least unconventional) ways. With our increased openness to all that is new and different, we may encounter opportunities that appear to come out of the blue. Our consciousness expands; we are receptive to new ways of thinking and new patterns of living.

Monday starts with a Moon void of course from 12:10am until 3:02pm EDT. As best as you can, use these 15 hours to take it easy. If possible, tap into your imaginative world, for example via your dreams or through creative writing. We are feeling extra sensitive this morning; we may have feelings that need to be felt and expressed. As best as you can, allow all of it. The more you fight against it or suppress it, the more uncomfortable you will feel. As always with a Moon VoC, go with the flow and stick to routine things (...if possible).

Last week, on Saturday, the Moon moved into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will remain until today (Monday) at 3:02pm EDT.

At 3:02pm EDT on Monday, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Wednesday evening. The energy of the Aries Moon bears on starting something new. Our gut impulses are strong; we feel energetic, spontaneous, enthusiastic and brave (and perhaps impatient and impulsive). Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity.

As the Moon enters Aries, the buildup towards the New Moon begins (it will be exact on Wednesday early morning). Now is a good time to slow things down and go within. We can sometimes feel anxious or nervous about our accomplishments right before a New Moon, especially with the Moon in impulsive Aries; as best as you can, stay grounded, take a deep breath and exhale any tensions.

Rather than starting something new, aim to complete existing projects -- and let go of that which no longer serves you. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?

Tuesday: the Moon remains in brave, fast-paced Aries, all day (see Monday for details).

The Moon connects to Uranus in Aries and squares Pluto in Capricorn today; this may bring up some emotional issues from the past. Since we are in the Balsamic Moon phase until tomorrow morning (Wednesday), this is a great time to let go of what no longer serves us.  This being the last day before the New Moon, as best as you can, do not jump the gun today: wait until after the New Moon to commit to brand-new endeavors or make brand-new connections.

Wednesday: the Moon remains in brave, fast-paced Aries until 11:22pm EDT (see Monday for details).

The Moon aligns with the Sun on Wednesday at 5:35 am EDT, in almost 21 degrees of Aries. This is the beginning of a new Moon cycle. With the New Moon in fast-paced, enthusiastic, courageous Aries, we are asked to connect to our personal goals and get very clear what we want to create for this new Moon cycle. Anything brand-new has a chance to get a great start within the next four weeks. This is an action-pact energy and the focus is on ourselves.

To be of service to others in a healthy way, without neglecting their own physical being, takes a strong, healthy individual. The Mars/Venus connection in Aries with this New Moon symbolizes very beautifully how "giving" and "receiving" is an essential part of achieving greatness. We must first give to ourselves, so we can be of service to others in a healthy way.

Knowing our truth, our path and our calling -- despite what it may look or feel like to others -- is essential at this point. Uranus, the planet of awakening leads the "stellium" of all 5 planets in Aries: It is an awakening of the divine aspect of Self, a rising of the clear light within that moves us, despite any circumstances. What are you most passionate about? Where do you need to take a stand?

No one else knows our path… not our partner, our parents, our friends, our teachers, no one. And when we know it, we must have the courage to look at it, acknowledge it, and follow it. As best as you can, use this New Moon energy to follow your path courageously and without question.

The ultimate goal of this New Moon is to tap into our inner warrior, that generates and protects life, rather than exploiting and destroying it. -- courageous, rather than combative; assertive, without being aggressive. The highest expression of the Aries energy is when we lead others by example and inspiration -- others follow us because they see our courage, our enthusiasm for life, and they want to be a part of it. Also feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in one of the following placements: 18-24 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month's Moon cycle. This process is especially powerful with the New Moon in Aries. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact -- and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

So this month, the best time to set intentions would be any time between 5:35am Wednesday morning and 12:25pm EDT; or after 11:22pm on Wednesday evening (EDT) until 5:35am Friday morning.

Part of the reason for this, is that on Wednesday at 12:25pm EDT, we enter an 11-hour Moon void of course (VoC), this lasts until 11:22pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to be still. Connect to your body's wisdom -- pamper yourself and others. As always during VoC, take it easy -- go with the flow.

Wednesday at 11:22pm EDT, the Moon movesinto steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will be until Saturday morning. With the Moon in Taurus, we are motivated by the desire for serenity, security, peace and comfort. The Moon is at her most sensual and constant in Taurus. Our basic impulse is to relax, resist change, get comfortable: life… slows… down. We may also be stubborn and materialistic under this influence. As best as you can, stop and smell the roses during this time -- enjoy life and its offerings ;-)

Thursday and Friday: theMoon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Wednesday for details).

Friday at 3:31pm EDT: Pluto comes to a halt in 11.5 degrees of Capricorn, starting its 5-month retrograde phase (April 12th - Sept.20th). Pluto's energy will continue to move more slowly until the 25th of this month (please see last week's blog for more details). When an outer planet stops, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us -- and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet's energy has picked up speed again.

During the retrograde phase, we are getting a chance to connect to anything associated with Pluto from within. Pluto is associated with our soul purpose, as well as the process of empowerment -- our ability to feel empowered from within -- and with our deepest passions. It is also associated with transformation. Examples of transformation would include our ability to transform darkness into light -- and death into rebirth (here, "death" is not necessarily a physical death). To get to a place of truthfulness on the soul level, Pluto will remove what no longer serves us, replacing it with something new -- something fully aligned with our deepest passions and soul purpose.

During the Pluto retrograde phase it is most powerful to surrender internally to any process we experience around empowerment or disempowerment. As best as you can, take it all in, and see where you would like to make adjustments. You will get a chance to do just that for the next 5 months. Tap into a place of authenticity from within -- embrace all of you: the good, the bad, and the ugly. You can ask yourself: what habits, behaviors or fears are holding me back from feeling fully empowered from within? How can I love all of me -- the light and the dark? What would it feel like, if I was fully aligned with my Soul-purpose?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 7-13 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this station more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)

Friday: a somewhat challenging Saturn/Uranus aspect becomes exact. We started to feel its effects around March 27th; it is exact tonight at11:29pm EDT and will be strong until April 28th. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed in order to see what needs adjusting.

We want something different than the rest of society; this in itself is neutral, but we may become frustrated if the way we express our unique desires runs counter to what others expect of us. This is especially true of intimate relationships, or business relationships that act like mergers designed to support us financially or otherwise. In short: for some reason, our unique methods are not being received with open arms.

It might be best to slow down; our intensity and drive can leave us drained -- and no closer to our goals. Our responsibilities towards others, coupled with our desire to break away from anything that limits us... this feels irreconcilable. Ask yourself: What choices can I make that support my unique self-expression without compromising my relationships (business or intimate)?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 7 - 11 degrees of Aries or Scorpio? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius or Capricorn (Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)

Saturday starts with a 2-hour Moon void of course (VoC) (it begins at 8:30am EDT). Take it easy in the morning. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to be present and create an awareness of body, mind and feelings.

Saturday at 10:13am EDT, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Monday evening. The Gemini Moon keeps us social and busy. Interactions may take place online, on the phone, or face-to-face with those in our immediate environment. With this Moon placement, we like to multitask and stay engaged with life as much as possible; as long as we don't get bored, we're good.

After 9.5 weeks, Mercury finally leaves dreamy, creative Pisces and moves into enthusiastic, direct Aries, on Saturday evening at 10:37pm EDT. It will journey through this courageous sign until May 1st. For these next two and a half weeks, our thinking speeds up and we are ready for new endeavors. We may come off as impulsive and impatient when communicating; however, we are focused on reaching our goals as quickly as possible -- we must therefore speak (and get answers) faster. Nothing stands in our way now: we are ready, we are brave, we want what we want and we want it now ;-)

Something to watch out for: blurting things out prematurely or inappropriately; as best you can, choose your words carefully -- and pause before responding ;-) All of us are feeling the Aries energy quite strongly at this time, so do your best to not take it personally, if someone ignores what you want, or says something insensitive. Remember to keep the focus on yourself instead -- and take responsibility for how you are communicating or expressing yourself.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries? If so, you will feel especially chatty for the next 2.5 weeks. Your mental energy will be quite active and you feel the need to connect to others -- whether it be in person, via email, over the phone or via social media. New ideas and new connections are very likely. Do you have your Ascendent or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel a tremendous energy burst for the next 2.5 weeks: really enthusiastic and physically strong.

Sunday:the Moon remains in lively, curious Gemini all day (see Saturday for details).

Sunday at 4:04pm EDT, we experience an energetic opposition between Mercury and Mars. We may have a disagreement with someone, or not see eye to eye on an issue. As best as you can, put yourself in the other person's shoes; try and see it from their perspective.

Sunday night/Monday early morning at 3:25am EDT: Venus moves into steady, sensual Taurus, where she will journey until May 9th.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel even more attracted to physical pleasures and comfort for the next 3.5 weeks. Your heart will want loyalty and consistency. Connecting to nature or anything simple and organic is going to feels especially comforting.

A head's up for Monday of next week: we experience an energetic opposition between the Sun and Pluto at 5:06am EDT. Someone may be mirroring something back to us, that feels intense or disempowering: we need to identify with our "dark" side, face it, accept it . Seeing another person as a reflection of our own shadow -- those parts of ourselves we have pushed aside or disowned -- could help us to become more whole.

Last but not least, there will also be a Moon void of course from 3:41pm, until 10:49pm EDT, next Monday.

Have a fantastic week! Empower yourself with Love! Step into a new adventure and don't look back ;-)
Many blessings,
Sonja
