This past week for me was all about creating a balance between how much I can share of myself with others and when I need to set clear boundaries, so I can feel centered and grounded within myself.
The main thing this week is the upcoming Venus Station (Tues, May 8th until May 22nd) -- this is the prelude for Venus going Retrograde on May 15th. Feel free to watch my video on the subject
Monday starts with the Moon in Sagittarius. This brings a joyful, adventourus start to our week. We are open to explore new things and we can see the bigger picture now.
On Tuesday, Venus stations, bringing into focus what we have and what we don't have. We are more aware of our relationships or the lack thereof. This forces us to look at who we value (including ourselves) and what is truely important to us. Feel free to watch my video on the subject
We are also experiencing a short Moon void of course (VoC) -- from 9:34pm until 10pm EDT -- so take it easy and go with the flow. The Moon moves into realistic, serious Capricorn at 10pm EDT. For the next two days (until Thursday night) we have a need to plan ahead and get down to business.
At 1:14am EDT on Wednesday Mercury -- the energy connected to communication -- moves into steady Taurus. This may slow down our thinking and we are more likely focused on being comfortable and letting ourself enjoy the beautiful things in life.
At 3:11pm EDT on Thursday, we enter another Moon void of course (VoC); this one lasts 10 hours, until 1:03am EDT (Friday very early morning). This gives us a chance to process what has happened in the past two and a half days. As best as you can, use this time to wrap up some unfinished business. Don't be too hard on yourself or others...this is a time to receive and let your intuition guide you. Don't let the reality of life weigh you down; rather, see how you can handle things in a mature and adult way.
On Friday and Saturday, the Moon is in freedom-oriented Aquarius all day. This brings up a need for change and doing things differently. Thinking outside the box and looking for progress with regards to our future are favored during this time.
At 5:47pm EDT on Saturday, we are starting the last Quarter Moon phase. This means that we are getting closer to the next New Moon. Take a look to see what needs any last adjustments and where we need make changes. We now have about a week to wrap things up that were started around the time of the last New Moon (April 21st).
Saturday evening at 8:52pm EDT we are entering another Moon void of course (VoC), this lasts 11 hours, until 7:42am EDT (on Sunday). This is a chance to get clear about our commitments and responsibilities. As best as you can, use this time to nurture your personal and business relationships; however, whenever possible, wait until the VoC phase ends, before you make new plans and appointments.
On Sunday the Moon is in gentle Pisces all day, finishing the week with sensitivity, compassion and romance.
The Sun alignes with Jupiter at 9:23am EDT. This brings a sense of expansion to our being. We feel generous, joyful, optimistic and maybe even lazy. What counts now are the good things in life.
At 4:54pm EDT, also on Sunday, Mercury makes an harmonious aspect to Mars. This helps us clarify our goals. We are able to bring practical thinking to our actions. This helps us be organized and maybe even clean out the things that are no longer needed.
Have a fantastic week.
