Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Savings Time -- four hours behind Universal Time (GMT).
This first few days of this past week were buzzing for me; I felt this sense of needing to get more done, which left me feeling a little behind. After the New Moon (this past Thursday), I had some powerful insights into my future -- and these really inspired me to step up and be bold. I believe that "thought" is always the first form of creation; if the thoughts are aligned with the heart, we are inspired. Through inspired thought comes the second form of inspired creation: inspired action.
I was thinking about how all of this is connected to the Moon phases:
The New Moon represents a brand-new beginning, the seed of something that is being planted -- in other words: a thought, an insight, an idea. This energy last for about 3 days after the New Moon (as you may remember, this took place last week Thursday until Saturday). As we get inspired by these thoughts, we have the opportunity to start taking actions during the Crescent phase of the Moon (which will take place this coming Monday through Thursday).
Then, when the first Quarter Moon comes around on Friday (and lasts until Monday next week), we have a chance to look at what works and what doesn't for the first time. More on this below... Over the weekend I could definitely feel the Chiron/Mars opposition, healing was surely taking place -- and old wounds had to be tended to…
Anyway, let's move on to this week... Monday starts with the Moon in sensual, peaceful and steady Taurus. As I mentioned in last week's post, this placement is great for giving into our senses and for connecting to nature or great food. If possible, do something that feels good and that connects you with the beauty all around you.
The Sun makes a harmonious aspect towards the Moon's North Node, exact on Monday evening. We will very likely be feeling this aspect most of the week. This placement supports our ability to see the bigger picture; it also opens us up to new adventures that help us grow -- it opens up our horizons. There is an added opportunity: to use our day-to-day thinking in a way that serves us, rather than holds us back. How could you bring conscious awareness to your daily thought process this week? What might open up, if you observed your thoughts and just let them be?
On Tuesday, after a six-hour Moon void of course (VoC)(12:34am - 6:43am EDT), the Moon moves into versatile, fast-thinking Gemini. This brings a faster pace to our day-to-day interactions. We are more social for the next 2-3 days; however, Mercury is retrograde (and moved back into Pisces last week). We are thus strongly called to go with our intuition when connecting; we are advised to avoid taking on other people's feelings, fears or frustrations. Feel free to watch my video on Mercury Retrograde Wednesday we are feeling a strong increase of a challenging Sun/Pluto energy that will be exact on Thursday at 3:55pm EDT. You could say that this is a preview of coming attractions, since Uranus and Pluto will make the same aspect -- all summer long -- starting in June. Pay close attention to how this week affects you personally; especially in the way it encourages you to grow and move towards a bigger you. How can you be rooted and empowered in your long-term commitments, and still leave space for individual progress and adventure?
There will be a five-hour Moon void of course (VoC) from 2:04pm - 7:07pm EDT on Thursday. This gives us the opportunity to process and digest any intense energies we are encountering this week. For more details on the Moon VoC click here. Just as a reminder: best to avoid any life changing decision or make any future plans during these periods; instead, stick to daily routines, take it easy. Take care of yourself, nurture your relationships and yourself, and most of all: connect to your intuition. After this five-hour Moon VoC the Moon moves into sensitive, protective and family-oriented Cancer.
As mentioned earlier in this blog, we will experience the first Quarter Moon towards the end of this week (exact on Friday at 3:41pm EDT). This phase is particularly important in terms of the seed that was planted -- or better yet, the thoughts or insights that came through -- during the time of the New Moon that took place last Thursday through Saturday. Again, we have a chance to look at what works and what doesn't for the first time, to see where we need to make adjustments or where we need to take different actions altogether.
The week ends with the Moon in Leo all day Sunday. This is a great day for giving into your creativity and self-expression. Follow your heart and nurture your inner child; if you have children yourself, connect and open your heart to them. This is also a great time for acknowledging yourself for how awesome you are -- and for showing gratitude towards what you have in your life already. If you have a hard time acknowledging yourself, hand out compliments to the people around you… they will love you for it! ;-)
That's it for this week. I hope you got some great insights that lead to bold actions. Feel free to reach out and let me know how everything is going for you.
Many blessings,
Sonja

A client of mine wrote to me the other day: "I had a question about Chiron in Pisces...I was born in 1968 so my Chiron is in Pisces. Is this time especially more significant for me in (healing) because Chiron is now in my Natal Chiron/pisces?"
Thank you for reaching out and asking that question.
If you were born in 1968 your Chiron is probably in a very late degree of Pisces. This means that you are getting an opportunity for the next 6 years to do some deep emotional and spiritual healing. Chiron is also connected to our lineage. Wounds get handed down from generation to generation. So depending on what got handed down through your father or your mother, you are getting also a chance to do some healing work around that. When Chiron returns to it's original position in your chart, which will be in 2018, you have completed a Chiron cycle. Up until 2018 you have the change to desolve all issues that have caused insecurities in the past, possibly shame or guilt and emotional hurts.
With Chiron in Pisces healing comes from compassion towards oneself and what was inherited, forgiveness either towards oneself or knowing that forgiveness is already always granted by the Universe/Source, and letting go of any beliefs around being a victim or being victimized.
Having faith that everything happens for a reason and that there are no coincidences, knowing that each moment or interaction is a gift from the Universe to help us grow and evolve, these are the gifts that Chiron in Pisces teaches.
Many blessings, Sonja

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Savings Time -- four hours behind Universal Time (GMT).
This past week was very busy and productive for me, especially from Tuesday on -- I really took care of business :-) I got very clear about my goals and actions; felt very organized and proud of my ability to keep on track with every single action step. I did encounter some spelling errors, mis-communications and public transportation mishaps. I was able to just stay open and go with the flow, as I was aware of the Mercury station last week and I figured, why get upset about it…
Over the weekend I dove into my Astrology videos and even though I had some technology hiccups, I was able to create some fabulous videos. My husband had more frustrations and anger come up last week. His computer broke down and he seemed to encounter angry people along the way… Well, that's us: feel free to let me now how your week went -- or how your week is going ;-)
Anyway, let's move on to this week... Monday starts with the Moon in Aquarius. As I already mentioned last week, this placement gives us the sense of wanting to break away from our commitments. We want to experience a sense of freedom and excitement. We want to see progress and are eager to go after our own dreams; we might have a vision of going after something that serves all of us on the larger scale. This energy is forward thinking and energizing.
As this week is preparing us for the coming New Moon on Thursday morning, use the energy before then for completing projects and wrapping up things that were started around the time of the New Moon, four weeks ago. This is not the best time to start anything brand-new; wait until after the New Moon for that. Mars creates a challenging aspect towards the Moon Nodes, exact on Monday early afternoon. We will most likely be feeling this aspect all week. This asks of us to stretch ourselves and focus our energies towards being of service. We must find a balance between our day-to-day thinking and our ability to see the bigger picture. How can we take charge of our lives when our thinking is out of whack? Think back to the end of November, beginning of December, last year. What needs to be revisited? What actions might need to be readjusted?
After a brief Moon void of course (VoC) (4:31pm - 8:05pm EDT), the Moon moves into idealistic, dreamy Pisces. This brings a greater sensitivity towards our environment. As best as you can, bring a sense of understanding and compassion towards yourself and others for these next few days. Tuesday early, early morning (right after midnight), the Sun moves into Aries; this is also called the Spring Equinox. Feel free to watch my video blog on the subject. Briefly, our awareness shifts from dreamy, sensitive Pisces to bold and independent, fast moving Aries.
This is quite an extreme energy shift, which might explain the long Moon VoC following on Wednesday morning (4:39am - 5:57am EDT the following day). This twenty-five-and-a-half-hour Moon VoC gives us the opportunity to process and slowly move into the full Aries energy. For more details on the Moon VoC click here. Just as a reminder: best to avoid any life changing decision or make any future plans during these periods; instead, stick to daily routines, take it easy. Take care of yourself, nurture your relationships, yourself, and connect to your intuition.
The Sun aligns with Mercury, exact on Wednesday afternoon. We will already be feeling this alignment from the time the Sun enters Aries on Tuesdaymorning. Make sure to breathe deeply and reflect before speaking out loud. Aries has the tendency to speak impulsively and make decisions too quickly. It just simply wants to "move on" -- patience is not one of its virtues. Being in our bodies and moving around might help give this energy a positive outlet.
On Thursday at 10:37am EDT, the Moon joins the Sun in Aries. New Moons mark the end of one cycle and an opportunity to move to the next level within a new energy and within a new experience of oneself. Feel free to watch my video blog about the New Moon in Aries. Briefly, Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, therefore it symbolizes new beginnings and fresh starts, the birth of something completely new.
This New Moon asks of us step boldly into a new experience of ourselves and to create brand-new goals that support our "hero-journey", that bring out our unique abilities. It is time to take a risk. Each one of us is holding something truly unique: a passion for something that comes from authentically connecting to our inner desires. As best as you can, turn fear into excitement and jump, take this quantum leap. Can we truly be happy without going after our passions, visions, desires? Can we impact others around us, when we are not sharing our unique gifts? If you answer "no" to these questions: what is the leap?
Mars opposes Chiron, exact on Thursday at 11:21am EDT. We will most likely be feeling this opposition all week. This calls for a balance between the actions we take on a daily basis and our insecurities around emotional or spiritual matters. How can you be precise in your pursuit of your goals and create clarity for yourself and others -- all while honoring feelings and wounds from your past? Remember: progress not perfection!
Mercury started it's retrograde phase last Monday (March 5th) in roughly 7 degrees of Aries. On Friday morning Mercury moves back into Pisces for the next three weeks. Our thoughts and communications will likely be less aggressive and assertive, more gentle and dreamy. Our idealistic or romantic nature might take over for the next 3 weeks. We might have to go over things that were already discussed back in late February/early March. Feel free to watch my video blog about the Mercury Retrograde or my blog on the same subject
Chiron, the wounded healer, makes a challenging aspect towards the Moon Nodes, exact on Friday afternoon. We will most likely be feeling this aspect all week. This asks of us both to stretch ourselves, and have compassion for our insecurities and emotional wounds from the past. We must find a balance between our day-to-day thinking and our ability to see the bigger picture. As all the celestial bodies involved in this aspect are in mutable signs, we are being asked to open our minds and our hearts; to be open for change, to be open for a shift to take place. What would it take to be completely ready and able to let go off our past -- and open our arms to a new and brighter future?
The Sun will align with Uranus, exact on Saturday early afternoon. This energy is building all week. As the Sun aligns with Uranus, we are becoming more and more aware of our own uniqueness. We are being asked to follow our inner calling, to step up courageously, away from what we know to be safe.
There is another Moon VoC on Saturday from 1:17pm - 5:43pm EDT. This gives us the opportunity to find a balance between our need for self-fulfillment, and our obligations to others. How can we love and honor both ourselves AND others? What if there was a way to create a win-win? What might that look like? For more details on the Moon VoC click here.
The week ends with the Moon in Taurus all day Sunday. This is a great day for giving into our senses and connecting to nature or great food. If possible, do something that feels good and that connects you with the beauty all around you.
That's it for this week. Hope you enjoy all the new, fresh energy in the air.
As best as you can, step boldly into this new experience of yourself. And as always, as best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others.
Feel free to reach out and let me know how everything is going for you...
Many blessings, Sonja

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Savings Time -- four hours behind Universal Time.
This past week was quite hectic for me. In particular right before the Full Moon on Thursday. I had so many things on my plate, I thought I was running a marathon in regards to getting things done.
There were also plenty of feelings coming up around financial matters. I had to take a closer look at how much money is coming in, where it is coming from, how much I am spending, where it is being spent…and so on. Money can really stir up some strong feelings for me, especially when I look at all the detailed data that is connected to my finances. I usually prefer to have faith that it will all work out and that I will be provided for. In general this has served me quite well in the past, as I have always had plenty of money coming in and never needed to worry about my resources for a very long time.
With Jupiter in Taurus, Pluto in Capricorn and Mars in Virgo, there is a certain pull towards getting in touch with the reality of our resources and with what works and what doesn't. Looking at the details of our day-to-day lives seems to be unavoidable at this time -- so why not go with it?
Just briefly, Mercury will start it's retrograde phase very early in the morning (3:49am EDT) on Monday in almost 7 degrees of Aries. As Aries is quite an impulsive, impatient energy, we might feel quite frustrated at the prospect of being delayed in some way or needing to re-communicate something. We also might have the tendency to say things without thinking about them first. As we are rushing to get somewhere or finish something up as quickly as possible, we might over look some details, miss some valuable information or simply take something the wrong way and get angry. As best as you can, go with the flow and observe your inner voice. What is it saying? Is it coming from a loving or fearful place?
On Monday afternoonat 2:30pm EDT, the Moon will enter a 12 hour long void of course (VoC) phase. For more details on the Moon VoC click here. Just as a reminder: best to avoid any life changing decision or make any future plans. Instead, stick to daily routines, take it easy. Take care of yourself, nurture your relationships, find groundedness within you.
One last thing I want to mention for Monday, is the Moon in Scorpio. As I already mentioned in last week's blog, this is an invitation to go deep; to touch the bedrock foundations: our inner passions, our innermost needs. We seek the deepest levels of meaning in a quest to understand ourselves and others.
Some of us may be tempted to stay on the surface, keep it light. This could be dicey: in trying to stay superficial, we may inadvertently cause something that forces us to dive anyway -- like conflict or drama. Basically, we can go deep -- or get pulled deep.
What would it look like if you allowed yourself to connect deeply to your inner passions and desires?
On Tuesday early, early morning, right after midnight, we have a very beautiful, supportive aspect between Jupiter and Pluto. Later in the evening Venus joins Jupiter and connects to Pluto as well. We have already started to feel these connections this past weekend and we will most likely feel them all week.
Another things we will be feeling all week are some aspects on Wednesday early morning, Venus and Jupiter are making a beautiful, supportive connection to Mars. Later in the evening, Mars makes another beautiful connection to Pluto. Again, we have already started to feel these connections this past weekend and we will most likely feel them all week.
As all of these connections are happening in Earth signs, we are finding it easier to connect to others and our own lives in a grounded, realistic and practical way. We are easily in touch with our commitments now and we easily get into all the details of what is important for us and what isn't. Connecting to nature might be really enjoyable at this time; connecting to others in a real way, being really honest about who we are and getting in touch with our own inner truth, comes easily this week.
Relationship and financial issues are being handled with an open mind; we have an easier time co-operating with the opposite sex. We also feel deeply passionate about our relationships and our lives right now. It's a great time to get in touch with your physical needs and find daily routine's that help us nurture our bodies. Taking care of our physical environment can be part of that as well.
What does your body need most at this time? How can you nurture your environment?
What is real in your life? What empowers you? How can you enjoy life more on this earth plane? What did you come here to achieve?
On Wednesday evening, the last quarter Moon brings our awareness to some of the things that might need adjusting right now. We can begin wrapping things up that were started around the time of the New Moon, three weeks ago. This is not the best time to start anything brand-new; wait until after the next New Moon (March 22nd).
Thursday and Friday the Moon is in Capricorn all day. This brings a desire for achieving things and making steady progress with our career goals. It is not the easiest time for expressing our feelings. However on Thursday late evening the Moon connects to Pluto and we might experience some intensity at home or in connection to the women in our lives. Obsessive thoughts might be a part of this transit. What, if anything, needs to be expressed? What are you really feeling at this time?
On Saturday afternoon, after a brief Moon VoC (9am-12:11pm EDT), the Moon moves into Aquarius where it will be all weekend, and also on Monday most of the day. This placement gives us the sense of wanting to break away from our commitments. We want to experience a sense of freedom and excitement. We want to see progress and are eager to go after our own dreams; we might have a vision of going after something that serves all of us on the larger scale. This energy is forward thinking and energizing. What are you looking to create for yourself and others? One last thing, because of Mercury's retrograde motion, it connects to Uranus three time within a six week period. It connected, for the first time, to Uranus last Monday (March 5th). On Sunday Mercury connects for the second time; this time it will be in retrograde motion. Therefore what we experience resonates back to the first time the connection happened. We are getting a chance to re-think any ideas or realizations that we had around March 5th.
Tap into your intuition and let yourself be guided to explore visions for our future, on a global level and on a personal level. If you feel nervous or anxious, remember to ground your body and connect to the here and now. Review your thoughts, what do I want my future to look like? Do I have to make any adjustments? What would it look like if I were to create a bigger, better future for myself and others?
That's it for this week. Hope you enjoy all that earthiness. Enjoy getting some work done, enjoy moving forward in a steady and consistent way, enjoy having some real connections with other people, enjoy connecting to your inner truth.
As best as you can, observe your thoughts. Are they what you want them to be? Observe the thoughts that come from your conditioning, from your past. Are they in alignment with what you want to create consciously in the here and now? And as always, as best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others.
Feel free to reach out and let me know how everything is going for you.
Many blessings, Sonja
